On the evening of Thursday, 7 July, I was reading some of the coverage of the House of Councillors campaign and winding down for the evening when I saw the news flash on Twitter.
I purchased your book when it was published shortly after Abe's untimely announcement of his resignation and completion of the longest PM. His effort to advance Japanese interests in the international stage, in a constructive way, earn respect of politicians and people of other countries. I'm a Chinese living in Hong Kong.
Thanks for sharing all this. I have appreciated your commentary across various media - some thoughtful signal amongst the noise. Looking forward to more commentary on this Substack and elsewhere! I did comment on my (still in soft-launch-stage) Substack PM Abe's legacy from a Northern California perspective.
Commentary from the heart. Wonderful report.
The posts are wonderful Toby!

Yes, thoughtful commentary... Thanks.
